Understanding Erectile Dysfunction Symptoms

The ability to become aroused should be simple right?  No, it is a complicated process.   • Inability to have an erection, some men may be incapable of achieving an erection. leading to shame, guilt or embarrassment.

Rare Symptoms

  • Premature ejaculation – ejaculation happens sooner than expected during sexual intercourse.
  • Delayed ejaculation –  occurs when it takes a prolonged period of sexual stimulation for a man to ejaculate. 
  • Inability to ejaculate – a prolonged period of sexual stimulation for a man and ejaculation is not achieved.
  • Reduced libido or sex drive.

There are things that you can do to get over this sexual dysfunction. If the prescription drugs aren’t right for you, you could try using penile implants, vacuum pump devices, or surgery. Erectile Dysfunction is more than the inability to achieve an erection,  it may be an indicator of other health issues such as:

Before you start a new exercise, program talk with your doctor.  Aim for 30 minutes five days a week. Start with brisk walking, swimming and light weights and gradually move to harder activities.

Avoid using illegal drugs – Illegal drugs may prevent you from becoming aroused or feeling other sensations. Using drugs covers over other psychological or physical factors that could be the cause of erectile dysfunction.
