Dr. Thomas Sorbera was born and raised in San Antonio, TX, where he attended college at Baylor University in Waco, TX, majoring in biology. He then received his medical degree from the University of Texas at Houston. Dr. Sorbera then completed his residency at Ochsner/LSU in New Orleans. Where he started their Laparoscopic Urologic program in 2000. He moved to the Golden State of California in 2001 where he started in private practice.
Dr. Sorbera has been board certified in Urology since 2003. He treats both pediatric and adult general urology. He is also Robotically trained with an emphasis on complex Urologic Surgeries including prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, UPJ reconstruction , pelvic prolapse repair, and staghorn calculi.
Dr. Sorbera Is the Chairman of the Northern California Robotics Institute and sits on the board of Lodi Health/Adventist Hospital where he is also Chair of Credentialing.
