Micronutrient deficiencies are a significant global health concern affecting over 2 billion people worldwide, particularly as it realtes to iron, iodine, vitamin A, and zinc. Iron deficiciency is the most significant worldwide contributing to anaemia, fatigue and cognitive impairment. Younger children and pre-menopausal women are at greatest risk.
