Who are Candidates for Robotic Surgery?
- For women assisted robotic surgery can be for removal of fibroids, endometriosis, pelvic organ prolapse repair, incontinence procedures, removal of the uterus, or certain gynaecological cancers
- For men assisted robotic surgery canwhere the disease is confined to a specific area such as removal of the prostate gland often associated with prostate cancer or BPH, removal of part or all of a kidney typically for kidney cancer or removal of the bladder or part of it.
